GOD
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is an all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever present spiritual being. As Ruler of the universe, God reigns supreme over nature, history, and individual lives.
Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Hebrews 11:3; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 17:24-28
JESUS
We Moms of Little Ones BELIEVES:
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born a virgin birth, lived a sinless human life, performed miracles, and His death atoned for the sins of the world at the cross. Three days later, He rose from the dead before ascending into heaven where He now serves as the Mediator between God and man.
John 14:6; Romans 1:1-5; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-22; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the presence of God in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit has been given to us by God as a comforter, guide, teacher, and guarantee of our eternal hope. Through His Spirit, God grants gifts and abilities to believers for the strengthening of the church.
John 14:16-17 and 16:7-13; Romans 8:9-14; Galatians 5:22-25; Ephesians 4:11-13
HUMANITY
We believe that men and women are created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but become alienated from Him through our sinful nature. We are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts, and reconciliation with Him is only available by His grace for salvation and new life.
Genesis 1:26-27; Colossians 1:21-22; John 12:47-48 and 17:20-23; Psalm 23; Mark 12:29-30; Romans 3:23-24
SALVATION
God, in His mercy, has provided a solution to the problem of our brokenness caused by sin. We are invited back into a relationship with God by placing our faith in Jesus as our Savior and Lord and repenting of our sins. Salvation is a free gift from God to all, and cannot be earned through our own efforts. God’s promise is that everyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ will receive the forgiveness of their sins and the free gift of eternal life.
Acts 2:38; Romans 1:16-17, 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-10; John 3:16-17
SCRIPTURE
We believe in the authority of God's Word as it is recorded for us in the Bible. This revelation from God has been divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and is entirely true.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 17:17
THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. God has chosen to use the church to make Him known to the lost world by loving and glorifying Him. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers.
Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 2:19-22, 4:11-16; Colossians 1:18
